Every institution dedicates itself to the military and veteran community when they participate in the Military Friendly® Companies Survey. We are here to help. Below are resources and answers to the questions you have, so we can work together towards making every institution in America is Better for Veterans.
The expanded timeline that includes designation release dates and future survey openings
ALL COMPANIES wanting to compete for awards and be included in the November press release should have there submissions in before Aug 6th.
Surveys can still be submitted after the Aug 6th deadline. Any survey submitted after the August 6th deadline will not be able to receive TOP TEN Awards. If you would like your company listed in the December Issue of GIJOBS “Annual Guide to Military Friendly Employers” Your survey must be in by Aug 6th. No extensions will be offered for the Top Ten awards.

Organizations must successfully complete the Military Friendly® Employers portion of the Military Friendly® Companies survey to verify that they meet at least three of the following benchmarks:
Additionally, we use public data sources in our assessment. Companies are negatively scored or may be disqualified if the company was found in violation of veteran protections within the past 12 months:
The Military Spouse Friendly® Designation is awarded to companies who meet the requirements in the Methodology section above. Categorical Weightings are as follows.

The Military Friendly® Supplier Diversity survey takes a detailed look at the lifecycle of engagement with veteran owned businesses as suppliers. What companies do to attract, retain, and develop them; as well as the policies and practices with which companies support their suppliers along the way.

The Military Friendly® Brands Designation survey enables us to showcase corporate investments in supporting the military and veteran community. Using a unified assessment framework, we score products, services, and companies based on social performance indicators. When we mention “military consumers,” we encompass active military, veterans, Reserves/National Guard members, and military spouses.
